This Backpack gives a different feel. The Backpack has a hard covering to resist shocks on the front. The shoulder straps are wide to distribute the loads. The laptop compartment is cushioned on both sides. I use it for the Dell Gaming laptop 1500 series and fits well within. With spacious compartments for books ar stuff. "I bought this bag for the large capacity as I wanted to avoid a trolley system for overnight trips. The compartments are spacious and have all the essential pockets and holders. I am most impressed by the zipper which is a water-tight assembly and has a membrane covering. Recently while travelling in Europe, was caught in the rain and the bag kept everything dry in all compartments. The laptop section is heavily padded, however, remember to switch off your laptop before inserting it. I once closed my laptop in a hurry and the system didn't go into sleep mode and the insulation retained the heat and made the laptop extremely hot. However, it is a useful feature in cold weather conditions as the laptop batteries don't drain due to the temperature drop. The zipper is a bit tight at first and eases out after a few days. The eyeglass holder is a very handy utility while travelling as it allows you to dump small things without having to open the whole bag (Spare change, candies, room keys, receipts, pen, emergency medicines. I currently use it to store my travel adapter, mouse and mobile chargers. The main outer compartment could have had a better quality separator for files and books. A single pocket I feel is not sufficient for business travelers as you tend to dump almost everything into it. Not a big issue if you don't have too many things to carry. The middle compartment is spacious to hold two sets of clothes and some bare essential toiletries. Came in handy while shopping at airports, loaded it up completely. I have loaded the bag up to 9 kgs and it has taken the abuse however my back could not. The shoulder straps are adequately padded and the rear side fabric is vented to allow air circulation. However, like all backpacks, it does scratch and roughs up trouser bottom and suit jackets if worn on the shoulder. I am surprised no manufacturer has yet found a solution for this problem yet. Overall the fabric, straps, stitching, fit, and finish are of great quality and the bag looks good. I would rate this a much better value for money over Samsonite equivalents which I have been using for the past 15 years."
"After being tired of all the crap that sky bags, JanSport's and American Tourister have been putting out I decided to take a risk and order this despite not having any reviews at the time. The pics looked good and boy was I surprised. The build quality is amazing, everything from the zippers to the zip itself, the buckles, and everything is premium. The zips have a lovely plastic y coating and that is perfect for keeping the bag water-resistant. It's a tall bag, perfect for travel but not so much for office daily use unless you carry a lot of stuff. The compartments and sub-compartments make carrying your accessories a breeze. Even has a case on top for your sunglasses and other things. The front has a shell-like semi-hard feel which protects the bag and gives it a definite shape. I feel mine is bending a little with time and takes the shape of the bag. Overall I love Nasher Miles. The risk was well worth it and I am considering buying their other 18-20l bag for daily office use."

Are the backpacks waterproof?
Nasher Miles backpacks are water-resistant not waterproof. The bags are made of premium material that provides a high degree of water-resistance. The difference between water-resistant and waterproof is that you don’t have to worry about your bag getting drenched in the rain or going through a puddle, but you can’t dunk your luggage into the pool and expect it to come out dry.
How should the backpacks be cleaned?
We recommend spot cleaning with mild soap (i.e. dish soap) and water. You can also use a product used for spot removal on clothing, or use a foam type cleaner used to clean car mats or automobile carpets (sold at car parts stores). If the luggage has a strong odour, use a vinegar and water solution. This may take the odour away, but the bag will have to be aired out for a few days.

How do I take care of my Nasher Miles backpack?
No matter what you spend on your dream backpack, it’s not an item that you want to be replacing any time soon.
Our backpacks get quite a bit of use and some of them even accompany us into the great outdoors, so you need to take care of them to help them last. Not only is it important to clean and maintain them, but be careful in general when wearing them to prevent premature damage from occurring.
When placing anything damp or wet in the backpack, it’s always best to keep it covered with another waterproof material first. Even stronger materials like nylon can be easily damaged by water or a build-up of mildew and mold, so avoid leaving wet stuff inside. If they do happen to get wet, simply hang it out to air dry and keep it out of the sunlight until it’s done.
After some time, you might want to wash your backpack to get it clean and smelling fresh again. You should never place a backpack in the washing machine regardless of what its instructions might say. The best approach is to gently hand wash with a mild detergent and give it adequate time to dry before using again.

What is the right way to wear my backpack?
When you first purchase your backpack you probably don’t give much thought to wearing it correctly as the design of them seems simple enough. While it’s true that you just slip both hands through the straps and wear it on your back, there are some things you can do to ensure that it’s being worn safely.
Never sling your backpack over just one shoulder and carry it this way, even if you think you’re going to look cool doing so. This can do serious damage to your shoulders and spine because of the weight imbalance, even if you do it just once.
When you first put it on, spend some time adjusting the shoulder straps to the correct position. The backpack should be seated high on your back with the shoulder straps not too tight around your arms.
